    I’m getting the following error from AE7:

    After Effects: not enough memory to create memory for blurring
    (206954k requested, 196028k available)
    (37::103)

    I’ve already tried all the work arounds I could find from all the posts here and the error still pops up about 130 frames into the rendering…
    any help is appreciated!

    it is a rather large still, but i was able to render it last week. Now, after making some changes to the projects, (adding 3 more pics in the background, out of focus) it will no longer render. It seems to always stall on/around a certain spot…

    Thanks for the info and help.

    I thought about blurring the pictures, however, they are being animated via the camera’s depth of field.

    After a few failed renders, I realized that the first successful render was done at a smaller comp size than 720*486. So I rendered the new file at 648*486, like last time, and had no problems. Not the ideal way to do things, but luckily, when imported into Avid, the difference is very minimal.

    But I will look into pre-rendering and using low-rez proxies.
