    I need help big time!
    I need to texture a mograph grid to be checkered pattern so every other square is black or white… how do i do that? Please help!!!!

    I assume you are cloning a plane or a box for the squares. Make two, put a white material on one, a black material on the other put both in your Cloner Object and set it to Iterate.

    its more of checkered set, that is contained in a rectangle shape picture1.jpg

    when i do a projection its not aligning properly…

    Julia, make sure your camera is set to either “front”, or “Parallel”. It looks like your camera is a “perspective” camera. I hope that helps.

    faster computer, lots of memory, try not to have more detail than you need, keep things like GI and Area light on a ‘I actually need this’ basis, there are ways to make it look close without using them. Read the manual it often has hints about settings that would be faster in some situations. But really 3D is complex enough there are always lots of ways to be quicker and without seeing your current scene it’s hard to know for sure what would help.
