Help Media Offline Problem
hey every one i got VP8 installed and when i try to add Final Fantasy Advent Children AVi to edit it, it says i have media offline and there is no audio but if i want to watch like a movie there is audio and not in vegas i have all the right codecs but still not working any one can help?

Where did the video originally come from?
My guess is that it’s a DivX or an Xvid file, neither of which Vegas likes too much (especially Xvid). -

well you mentioned that you have all right audio codecs, but my answer to this is: remove all codec packs and sort of things… like K-lite codec pack and other codec packs, and when you have done that, go to divx:s website http://www.divx.com and download divxplayer, voila!!!
vegas will accept the file with divx players codecs.. and you will have the audio, but not if there are many channels, that want not work!!!
if it’s more channels we have to take another step but later….hope it works!!!
