Help me recreate this text effect please
there are this youtube videos with a certain text effect i always see from mr Whosetheboss and a client of mine became intrigued with them.
i am interested in the gradient style and the way the text seems to glow, i tried to recreate it for the client but it didn’t look like it, anyone with a solution of how i can achieve it i would highly appreciate.

I’m not seeing anything I would describe as a “glow.” Perhaps you are responding to the “popping” that occurs from the embossed edge (lit from above) contrasting with the black outline. Seems like a straightforward gradient fill combined with a simple bevel/emboss effect. Typically bevel/emboss is a layered effect utilizing a transfer mode like “overlay” or “hard light.”
