Help me please
I am used to using AE 7 and I just got 6.5 and I cannot figure out how to import a picture. Everytime I try it, it says Warning unable to import file ________ as project. Please help me???

sounds like when you try to import the file, you’re attempting to import it as a project by accident. When your import window opens up, make sure you have “footage” selected.
Or it may be that your file isn’t a compatible AE file.
Importing a file with AE 6.5 is pretty much the same as importing with AE 7, so the process should be exactly the same.
