In a nut shell, here’s the situation:

Shooting a feature comedy with very limited budget.
    I’m a writer/director, and won’t shoot this myself.

Cameras availble to me: HPX170 with 35mm lens adapter, HPX300 with stock lens, and HPX900 with stock lens.

    Questions:

    1. Which camera would you use?

    2. What frame rate?

    3. Is there a technique with shutter speeds or something else to mitigate the stuttery nature of 24p.

    4. If I go with the 900, is there a versatile lens to rent that won’t break the bank?

Thanks in advance for any help. If someone is a wizard with one of these cameras and can make it sing, I’m willing to talk.
