    Nope, you’re misinterpreting… The MacPro has support for six SATA devices right from the mainboard. The MacPro coems setup with bays for four hard drives, the system drive and three others, but there are ways to add a drive in the second optical disk bay, which would then allow you to use use four drives in the internal bays striped as at Raid-0.

    Until Apple embraces 64 bit code and completely rewrites the aging FCS code, there is no such thing as “a screaming fast editing machine” for the MAC. For that honor you have to go to BOXX technology and buy a truly thoroughbred, screaming fast 64 bit machine!
