Help! Making Football Highlight film
Hey guys, I’m making a highlight film from this past season to send out to college coaches. I have all my clips picked out and I would like to add arrows to my clips so people know where I am during the play. I’m using Premiere Elements and I have not the slightest clue how to do this. Thanks for any help!

Ideally, you would want to import a graphic, with transparency or a matte.

I have tried to do this. I make an arrow in Photoshop with a transparent background. Then when I save it, it adds a background to it for some reason. So when ever I try to add the arrow to my fill I get this.

Try saving the image file as a PSD or PNG…

Although I’m sure you can do it, I would suggest using a professional to put your tape together. You could be highlighted just like they do on ESPN where they make the entire screen go dim except for the player they want to point out – all of your stats would be shown as graphics (including bench, squat, deadlift, GPA or community involvement). My company, for example, could probably have your project put together and on a DVD in about 2 hours – at $30 and hour you’d have a slick DVD that would knock the socks off coaches.
