Help: Light Writing question (Motion3)
I am using Motion 3. I am using the match motion behavior on an emitter to write a name in the air. Everything looks great, but I can’t get the light streak to turn off between letters. I was hoping I could disconnect the key frames in the match motion layer. But I can’t. How can I keep my previous letters up without having them connected? It looks messy. Thanks for any help.

Howdy,
You don’t want to alter the tracking data; you want to turn the emitter off between letters. Keyframe the emitter’s birth rate value so that it goes to zero after each letter and jumps back to what it was at the start of each letter.
