  Help! I can’t print to tape.

  Hello, and thanks for responding in advance.

  I have a basic FCP 5.1 system connected to a Sony HVR-M25 deck, fire wire only.

  The issue is this. When using the Edit to Tape tool, FCP is outputting the video only. Capturing, and moitoring playback from the time line through the deck is fine. Also if you put the deck in record and playback from the timeline, the deck records properly.

  The Print to Tape tool does the same.

  I also swapped out the deck with another HVR M25 that works on our other FCP 6.0 system, and tried using a Sony DSR 25, with the same results.

  Problem seems to be related to the Edit to Tape tool. Has anyone else encountered this?
