    Greetings,

Horozontal lines on alpha channel clip.
Clip is keyframed with motion and composited over a still image.
    Make sense?
Noticing some horozontal lines on the motion/keyframed alpha channel clip, on the edges, both alone in black and also when composited.

    Hope this makes sense.

    Happy New Year, all.

Hi there thanks for reply… I am going to see client now. I already gave them a heads up that I was not sure how to fix it…perhaps deinterlace and checking to see if there are some filters on the clips which should not be. Motion for the same clip in other places not a prob….Good luck to you!!!!

    celeste,

…apparently, since I just recently installed Tiger, my apple software updater (set to weekly) hadn’t checked to see if there were any updates available…

    BUT

the system software update just popped up (dated 10/31/05) and it had a bunch of pro app fixes (including fcp5)…I downloaded, restarted and my problem with jittery shadows was gone…presto.

I highly suggest that anyone else who has been having these problems with “the shakes”…make sure they have the latest Tiger version installed (10.4.3). Hopefully, it’ll be that simple for anyone else.
