    Hello All,

I’m really a big fan of EpPro – it’s fast, and has just about every codec I can think of!

My problem is I can never get a super quality MPEG2 out of it to save my life! I can get an OK file, but it will have slight color issues, or some larger compression artifacts then I would like. I think it may be that I was spoiled with bitVice’s quality, but I can’t seem to replicate it.

I’m pretty sure it can be done, right? I generally use a CBR in the mid 7’s for quality, but are there other small details that I should be focusing on in the 234328583 things I can muck with?

    Thanks!

What format are your source files?

Most of my source files would be uncompressed 8bit or 10bit quicktimes, usually from 8/10bit sequences.

    Does that help out?

    Thanks for the help!
