HELP! Field reversal problem – Won’t go away!
So I’m trying to export a QT movie from XPro 4.8.2 to encode in DVDSP4, and I discovered what look like field reversals going on. Now, where they happen in my source media, I figured that there was a problem with the initial digitizing of the footage. HOWEVER, it is also occuring IN MY RENDERED EFFECTS! What’s going on?
As one clip flies off the screen, each frame shows one field from consecutive frames superimposed on each other, as if it rendered out the wrong field order. I tried exporting and selecting the other field order, but it made no difference. I can do “Single Field,” but then I get jagged edges. I just don’t understand, especially since many of my source clips DO NOT have any field problems, but the Avid Effects do!
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
