    Hi,

could somebody help me out with FCP or Compressor?

I need to export footage in a mpeg2 but in Wide 1024 x 576 square pixel Data Rate 6-8 mbit and the sound needs to be in 48 khz Stereo and it should be multiplexed.
But it all needs to be one file.

I can’t get it to go.

    Help!

    Hi,
I may suggest you to export your project as a quicktime file first from FCP (Unselect the Self-Contained Movie). Close FCP to save CPU usage and open Compressor. When you import your quicktime file, you will see different MPEG2 presets. I may suggest you to select the preset that will be Widescreen and High Quality with the amount of minutes closest to your project (By default, it will be 60, 90 & 120 mins). It will create two files, 1- AIFF PCM Audio file 2-M2V MPEG2 Video file. If you want to tweak the settings furthermore, double-click on the preset chosen and adjust as you wish and simply submit the job for processing.

    Hope it will help,

    Have a nice editing!
