  • Help Echo removal in FCP or Sountrack

We shot a client on camera and used a boom mic instead of a Lav. It really isn’t that bad sounding but the client is very frustrated and wants to re-shoot because it has a bit of an echo on it. Can someone shed some light on some filters that may help me in FCP or Soundtrack to pull out this echo or compress it? We have played around with some things but can’t get it out. Help!!!!

    Thanks, Randy

    There are no such filters.
Echo is pretty much impossible to remove. The physics just don’t work.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
