  • Help designing a moon\night scene.

    Hey everyone.
As a part of somthing (not relevant) , I need to make a realistic convincing night scene including a moon.

This is what I did so far ::

Im happy with what I did so far , but still not satisfied.
I would LOVE to get some suggestions\comments about how to make this more realistic.

the scene is a star map (fractal noise) , a moon with 3 glows underneath , and some clouds so the moon wont look so lonely. 🙂

    thanks to all repliers\helpers!

i’ve used tinderbox moon-sky but for yours, what about fractal clouds of varying density sandwiching the moon. That would give it more dimension. use Shift and “+” to cycle through the modes of your layer transfers. I’m sure you’ll find the one you want.

    First of all, – Thanks.

I never seem to succeed in doing realistic clouds with fractal noise.
maybe if I really lower the opacity just for the feeling of it.

also , Ive searched everywhere (google 🙂 for “Tinderbox moon sky” but couldnt find anything.
are you sure thats the full name?

    Thanks again!
