    Hello

    I forgot to clean the lens b/4 the shot, and the lens has dust that shows on the video.

    any suggestions on how to correct this huge error.

    The good news is that it can be done… the bad news is that you might not live long enough to finish.

    If you were shooting a static talking head without much camera panning or zooming you can duplicate the video track, apply a garbage matte to isolate the dust spot, apply a blur to it and then animate it to follow the camera movement…very tedious.

    You can export the clip in an image sequence, correct in Photoshop, then reimport as footage. Again, it can take a long time but something that small could be fairly fast. Open all the files, correct, close and it will ask you to “save?” Say “yes” and it will be much faster. The file names never change.

    Sorry, I don’t have much to add. How about selling them an old film look, easier to add dust than to remove it 🙂

    That is just one spot. You don’t need Prodad to do that for you. Can easily be done in Pr.
    If there are many spots or dust; that is a different ballgame.
