Hello everyone, I often utilize your site for advice and tips, but this is my first post for help. So, thank you in advance.

I have probably pressed some button, but for some reason my Canvas is red. But when I press play the red goes away. And sometimes when I’m moving the playhead around there will be a little X that show’s up in the top right corner of the canvas. I can’t for the life of me figure out what it is, and its really just annoying.

Any help advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

    -Nick

PS. I’ve added some pictures so you can see what I’m talking about.

Just incase anyone else needs help with this I found the answer in the apple forums (of all places).

If you don’t want to follow the link, a Red Tint color on your canvas could mean you’ve turned on the RGB+Alpha mode.

Shift-W toggles it on and off.
