Help … cant seem to get Write On to work
Hello all.
A client has given me a graphic of a series of floral vines for use in a project and I am looking to make them look as if they are growing. First the main vines and then the accompanying leaves.
I found a tutorial for doing something similar in After Effects, but the steps don’t seem to translate well into Boris. I tried creating a spline effect using the pen tool and path points and then selecting the “write on” tool but so far nothing is working or showing up when I preview.
It MAY be me just not “getting it”, but will someone please advise me how to make this work? I need to be able to accomplish this effect and should be able to with Boris … but it is getting frustrating to follow the steps and not see an outcome.

Hi Jay,
There are many tutorials that can walk you through the paint system in Boris RED – I would suggest going over a couple of them and in 15 – 30 minutes you should be equipped with the knowledge to create the paint-on effect that you are trying to make.
