HELP! Can’t find power module for Beyer CK707
Posted by Carey Harrison on April 26, 2007 at 8:12 pmI have recently aquired a Beyer Dynamic CK707 shotgun capsule WITHOUT a power supply (module?). I think I need a CV710 or a CV720 but I can’t find one. Beyer won’t answer my emails. Any ideas? Thanks for your help. Carey

April 27, 2007 at 12:37 amYou found a dynamic shotgun?
Wow, an antique! Beyer may not have parts.
Where are you?

April 27, 2007 at 2:20 pmBeyer has no parts and no suggestions. I’m a bit surprised. Quality mics that are well cared for last a long, long time (of course that means that you shouldn’t need parts). Anyone have any other ideas?

June 4, 2007 at 1:58 pmIt’s not a “dynamic” shotgun, it’s a condenser. The beyerdynamic CV7x0 series is a tough mic to find these days, that’s for sure.
Chia, if you don’t have any luck finding a preamp body and decide to sell the capsule, I’d be interested in buying it.

June 20, 2010 at 11:04 amMy Beyer works fine on phantom power 12v or 48v. Although I prefer my Sennheiser 416’s but they need an inline adapter for phantom powering.
