  • help: canon xm2 log and capture

Posted by Tielman Dewaele on June 25, 2007 at 10:08 am

    Hello,

Im using a canon xm2 to log and capture footage via firewire.
When i put on the camera, then start Fcp, Fcp takes it long to open. When it finaly does, it doesnt find= unable to initialize video deck.
What could the problem here? Somewhere change my settings?
    Its pretty urgent.

    Thanks

    T.

    Peace

    See if this helps

    https://www.fcpbook.com/Video10.html

Also it might help to answer these generic questions:

Be as exact as you can. What settings are on the media? What settings are you using in Final Cut? What computer are you using? What drives? What camera or deck? How’s everything connected? What version of the application are you using, and what version of the OS and of QT are you using?

    All the best,

    Tom
