HELP Bringing in .VOB files
I was giving a dvd That someone had made and would like me to do some work for them. The problem is I cannot bring it in to final cut pro. When I open the dvd it has .VOB files. If I go to import/file, and select the VOB file it will import it, but it will not have sound. Can anyone please help me on how to bring in this VOB file (dvd) into final cut pro. Thank you

FCP cannot edit VOBs…DVD files of any kind. YOu need to convert it to an editable format. Get MPEG STREAMCLIP (free…use google) and then convert it to DV/NTSC.
