help after effects cc partical world!!!
I bought adobe after effects 5.5 on ebay as well as a upgrade to cs3. He set me floppy discs with 5.5 in it But my computer says they are blank so i havnt installed th effects of 5.5. I have however installed cs3 and as you may have gused it desnt have cc partical world on it or any cc stuff for that matter. So if you could help me I would be more than happy.

if you installed cs3 as a trial version, it may not have installed the third party bundled effects like the cc effects.
all you should need to install the full version of cs3 is the serial number from the 5.5 version that you purchased on ebay… did the seller provide the serial number…? other wise it’s useless.
if you did use the 5.5 serial and installed the full cs3 version, then you may have unchecked the install of the extra effects (there is a point just prior to install where ae asks if you want to install some templates and projects files, and extra bundled effects…). you may try reinstalling cs3 and see if you can just add the extra effects (you may have to uninstall ae then reinstall, i’ve never tried to install just the bundled effects for cs3).

It is possible to install just the bundled Cycore effects after installing After Effects.
