  HELP! AE crashes when viewing QT file.

  When I import a QT file and drop it into a composition or try to open in the viewer, AE crashes out. It seems that when it goes to retrieve a frame from the file it just crashes. What is odd is that I can render out a QT from AE and reimport that, and that works. It doesn’t seem to be codec specific. I recently updated to the latest QT. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I’m on an Macbook Pro running 10.4.10

  I can open the same clips in QT itself, tho. Which is odd. I’ve had to export every QT file into an image sequence as a work around. I’ve even tried exporting the crash inducing clips using other codecs from within QT, but it still crashes AE.

  Any help would be great. This is really frustrating.
