I’ll be presenting a (very short) little bit about how I use FCP X at Able Cine in Burbank this Saturday. (3/5) You should come by and heckle! It’s free, and there will be snacks! There will also be a bunch more presentations… a bit about cutting the recent Challenger doc, a bit from apple, and some stuff about the Lumaforge share station thingies. 🙂

I’m the opening act at 11:30 Stop by if you’re inclined.

Say “hi” to David Tillman (editor of the Challenger doc) for me. I onlined that one. We’ve worked together for years. Wish I could make it…

I’m actually going to be in LA for this – so if you think you work better with active heckling…

Then again, I’ll probably be interested in what you’re saying. So maybe I’ll just sit quietly and listen. ; )

    See you on Saturday.

    Hey Charlie,

If you need some support I hear Chris Christie is available.

Too short notice for me, otherwise I’d be there with rotten tomatoes ready to hurl. 😉

Is there going to be a video or a podcast of your talk? I’m always interested in what you have to say. I think Abel might actually have a camera or two in house …..

It’s an FCPExchange event from FCPWorks. They typically record and post content snippets later when appropriate. (Which is to say the presentations NOT done by Apple itself – which are traditionally “cameras off.” If you want to hear that stuff, you’ve got to be in the room.)
This presentation is pretty close to NAB – so post-event publishing may be slower than usual since so many people are deep in prep for the big show.
