Headphones: which is better?
I’m not really much of an audio guy, but I’m working on it. I’m a videographer/editor I do a lot of solo projects where I will shoot and then edit in area where a lot of other people work so I must where headphones. Anyways I’m in the market for a new pair of headphones and price is an object. I’m looking in the $80-$140 price range and am looking at a few different brands
Sony MDR-7506 (I’ve used these before and they felt and sounded great from what I could tell)
AKG k240
Sennheiser 280HD Pro
Audio-Technica ATH-M40fsFrom what I’ve seen on past posts people tend to favor the sony and the akg. I will be primarily using these to plug into a camera in typically noisy enviroments and using them for many hours on end when I edit so they must feel good too.
Any suggestions/opinions?

I use the MDR-7506.
Buy a small headphone amp to use between the camera and any headphones you choose.
Examples:That will boost the weak signal from the camera to better power the headphones so you can better hear what’s going to tape and improve what you can hear in noisy locations.
