HD/XDCam questions regarding AVID
Hello all!
I’m a little bit behind the HD curve in that I work as an AVID editor at a government agency. We still operate in standard def here and most of what we get in now is coming on XDCAM that we take in at IMX 50 to edit with.
The question I have is, can you take in High Def at IMX 50? I have some stuff that we got on an XDCAM that is still High Def coming in off of the disc. It appears I need to transcode/down res it down to work with it in the rest of the timeline that is standard def. Any insight into the most efficient way to do this?
