HDX900 vs 700 series HDCAM

June 19, 2006 at 4:11 pmI dont think so—the 900 won’t be available until July–but maybe someone in here has an in with Panasonic and has seen it.

730 is still great camera but no 24P.
I think it’s gonna be a real good competitor of HDW-F900.
I think more people will use HDX900 cz of lower price than F900 -

July 29, 2006 at 9:40 amHaven’t seen the 900, but tested 400 vs 750 on a shoot.
Based on that camera and experience with 14bit ADs, the 900 will be smoother and less plastic than 10bit head of 750.
750 will be sharper
In the progressive camera range, Panasonic only make 1280 x 720 imagers, Sony make 1920×1080 (1440×1080 in XDCAM)
