    Hi everyone,

I have been offered a HDX-900 and have completely forgotten how to determine its manufacturing date from its serial number.

I have searched everywhere so my final resort is to pester you guys!

The first digit, the letter, is the MONTH, A for Jan, B for Fed, etc. The second digit is the YEAR. 7 for 2007, 8 for 2008, etc.

My HDC27H begins with C6, so it’s a March 2006 camera. My viewfinder is also dated march 2006, but you never know if the viewfinder on a used camera shipped with it.
