I am currently using Final Cut Pro as my NLE. If I recorded 1080i60 as you described, do I then CinemaTools to remove the pulldown? Will the resulting footage be the same as if I recorded 1080 23.98 in camera? What are the timecode issues for this workflow if I later need to recapture lost media from the tape backups? Thanks in advance for your time and answers!
