I am preparing to shoot on an HDX900 and using HD1400 and Final Cut via Firewire.
I am trying to determine the settings I want to use before I shoot a frame of video.
    I am debating between 1080/29.97P or 720/29.97P I really don’t need to shoot 24P.
Will there be any issues with firewire or any other “gotchas” with this? Anything I need to we aware of or careful of?
How well does the “in camera” 1080 upconversion work from the 720 native chips? Does it look better than the native 720?
Would I be better served to shoot native 720, edit in 720 and up convert to 1080 from the finished master later? Does it make a difference?
Are most people using the HDX900 shooting 1080 or 720 and why?
