    Will a tape recorded from a HDX-900 in 1080i play back in a HDcam deck?

    Yes of course it will you just need to dub the dvcpro tape material to HDCAM tape and all will be fine.

    Unless of course you can jam in two to three dvcpro medium size tapes into an hdcam vtr to make up for the size differences.
