  HDW-F500 HD VTR Unable to output General Error (92)

  I keep getting this general error message when trying to Edit to Tape the sequence I have loaded in the Viewer.
  I’m using FCP 4.5
  G5 dual 2.0 GHz
  2 Gigs RAM
  OS 10.3.6
  Sony HDW-F500 VTR
  Decklink HD capture/output card

  I have control of the deck from FCP
  I can see the FCP output at the VTR
  I can record the FCP output at the VTR manually
  My tape is blacked with 20 seconds of blacked tape prior to the edit in point. (plenty of preroll space)
  When I hit OK to edit to tape I see the lights flash on the VTR menu display, but nothing happens then the error message.

  What am I missing? any ideas?
