  HDV50i to SD DVD workflow best quality?

  i’m working in HDV50i shot from a sony fx1 and need to put down onto a standard def dvd. I’ve had problems with shuderring before and just wondered if someone can suggest a workflow for it that kept good quality as just going from hdv workspace and compressing out to mpeg2 produces horrible results.
