HDV with NTSC Widescreen Output
I’m definitely at the end of my rope.
I’ve been up for days reading through dozens of threads and can’t seem to find a solution to my problem.
I shoot in HD, edit in Sony Vegas Pro 8 with NTSC Widescreen project settings, then output in NTSC Widescreen.
BACKGROUND:
I’m creating a video with transitions and affects including snapshots of video to which I add a hard flash transition and camera shutter sound for a nice look and sound.
Both my project and media setting match my output settings but the video, before and after render, is not consistent. Instead of my edited video running smoothly with all edits and affects filling the same portion of the screen, the video goes from a large widescreen to a smaller widescreen which is highly undesirable.
I’ve read through posts and changed my project settings to work within HD, then output in NTSC Widescreen Architech, and also I’ve experimented by clicking the “stretch video to fill output frame size” box, during the render process, but both these steps didn’t correct my problem.
This is my first post and, believer me, I searched to see if the answer was out there on a previous thread before posting this one. So, please don’t beat me up for not having the correct language to better find a solution to my problem.
Many thanks in advance to all.
