HDV to SDI

Either way, a capture card will be needed. Decklink (www.decklink.com) or AJA (www.aja.com) are the top runners.
YOu might have to drop the HDV sequence (by that I mean copy and paste the finished cut) into a supported HD or SD format that can then be output by those cards…which means rendering.

July 9, 2005 at 9:58 amHi thanks for the reply. Finally I could do that but what I did was, I imported the HD sequence to Blackmagic 8 Bit PAL sequence and print to video. I actually not sure what i did is correct or not. But, of course, we need to render the whole sequence. If we can get any option which can out put with out rendering was excellent. thanks a million once again.

Convergent Design is about to release a product called HD-Connect LE which will do the HDV to HD/SD-SDI conversion in realtime from final cut pro or the camera directly. Go to our website for more information:
