HDV to quicktime or SD compressor
I took a 45 minute clip and sent it out to both compressor and quicktime. With Compressor I used the settings 90 minute best quality 16:9 Standard Def. The process took 17 HRS. Yep you read that right. Sending a HDV out to a leave as is quicktime self contained is about 12 hours.
We’re gonna need something faster than a dual 2.7GHZ machine.
