HDV to Betacam

The Io cannot output an HDV timeline. It will shot a field upon stop, but cannot output in realtime.

I recommend creating a standard definition sequence into which you can paste your HDV sequence. FCP will automatically resize all of the clps into letterbox. You’ll then need to render the entire sequence, which could take some time depending on your program length. Be sure to check each clip as some may need application or adjustment of the Shift field filter. In a recent HDV to SD test I noticed that Shift Field filter is automatically added to some, but not all clips and I have discovered a couple clips with no Shift Field filter and a field dominance mismatch.
