    hello,
    has anybody successfully done this?
I’m using all the most up to date equipment…
I’ve set up everything as I think it should,
however when it captures, the frame size is half what it should be, i.e 960×540….
Also on the kona control panel, everything looks fine (its getting a 1080 compnent signal and analog audio,
however, there is a thin red line around the analog in icon… anyone have the same issues?

I’m using the Sony M10 deck. its all in PAL.
would any of you kind contributors care to set me straight on what the settings should be?

    thanks,
    Joe

Have you tried capturing in DVCPRO HD? That’s how I use mine all of the time. DVCPRO HD handles everything beautifully including graphics. As a matter of fact, that how most of us use our HDV equipment. HDV captures in FCP are very troublesome at best.
