    Has anyone heard if any company is coming out with a card that would allow for an HDV timeline to be viewed on an external monitor without having to either render up to an HD timeline and viewing through an HD card (like the Kona 2) or rendering down to a NTSC timeline?

    The method I have researched costs $1300. Decklink HD card for $595 and Decklink HD Link converter box to convert the HD SDI signal to a DVI one costs $695. Oh, then you need the Apple 23″ or Dell 24″ display to view this on…

    I can view my timeline on my second 23″ cinema display, but I would really like to view it on my 42″ plasma. So I guess there is no way to do this.
