hdv sd sequence scale issues WHY
Why o why, does it do this. I had a dual screen 24 style effect on some of the clips in a HDV sequence. I copied all the clips from the sequence into an SD sequence an FCP re scales the clips to fit the SD. however, the dual screen effect clips were blown up massive?
Unfortunatley I did not check the film again before passing it through an 9 hour compressor for DVD.gutted.
Is this a preset in fcp not to rescale clips that have an the scales altered before? can I turn that off?

Don’t do this copying and pasting. Do this by nesting. Place the edited HD sequence inside the SD sequence.
