HDV rendering
Do I need to render or “conform” HDV every time before I can print to tape? I capture HDV using the SonyHDV firewire preset. I put 2 clips together in a sequenc and Print to tape. It says conforming HDV.
What is this? I thought I was capturing native HDV. Maybe I have something set wrong.

Yes, you do, because the GOP structure has changed and has to be rebuilt.
