HDV Question
I am using the HRD-FX1 and had a question:
I am using the “Easy Setup” for HD in FCP5 to capture the footage from the HDR-FX1. My problem that I am forseeing is, the monitor that the finished product will be viewed on isn’t an HD monitor. Can I make an SD sequence and drop the HD sequence into it preserving the 16:9 aspect ratio?

Which easy setup for HD are you using?
There are HDV presets, are you using one of those?
