  HDV on PC captured from Final Cut

  Okay, here’s an interesting situation.

  I need to capture a bunch of HDV footage and use after effects 6.0 to key it and do all kinds of crazy stuff to it. The problem is that I work on a PC and edit using after effects and avid xpress pro hd but do not have an HDV deck. I can only capture the footage at my old filmschool using final cut pro because they do have an HDV deck. But if I capture it there, my PC doesn’t recognize the codec, it’s just a white screen. Is there a way to get a PC to recognize HDV footage captured in FCP 5? I hope so!
