    Hello Every One ,

    Am having a problem in getting realtime HDV with final cut pro ,

    My RT Extreme is Not active and HDV is not in the Supported codecs when it comes to effect procissing , i have A G5 os 10.4.2, Dual processor 2.7512 ram .

    but i cant figure wts the problem .

    Am using the HDV_ 1080i50 easy setup with the sony HDv camera .

    Did you double-check your Sequence Settings? If you did the “Easy Setup” after starting a New Project your Sequence 1 would still retain the settings of the project when it first opened.

    already did that , even i opend a new project and captured new media .!!!

    it’s your lack of RAM
    the spec calls for a Min 1 gig of RAM for all HD projects. ( since I am assuming that was 512 RAM in your note)
