HDV motion effect problem
So please don’t laugh at me! I guess I really should have done my homework before the shoot but:
On a recent music video shoot I did the ‘band performs at 2x speed then slow down the footage by 50% to create the slowed down but in sync effect’. Well this is the first time I’ve tried it in HDV and its just not working out at all. My footage is still longer then the track and obviously way out of sync. I’m sure I’ve obviously done something wrong here due to ignorance but if anyone could offer a solution I’d be very grateful. Shooting on a Sony Z1 1080i50 and editing in Media Composer 2.6

You’ll find a fit to fill with the right ins and outs will nail it.
You can then use that speed with a fluid motion effect for better quality.
