HDV m2t files not recognised
I have a new G5 with Tiger, FCP 5, and all the latest software patches installed. I downloaded several native HDV clips in m2t format and they are not recognized at all, either by QT, or within FCP. Must be pilot error… Can someone please tell me what to do?
Also, I created a new program in FCP, and using Easy Setup I chose HDV 1080i assuming that was proper for native HDV editing. Is that correct???

So, I am confident that Easy Setup is correct at HDV 1080i60, but still files are not recognised by QT or by FCP.
Anyone???
