hdv in after effect
My sony camera outputs 1080i footage as mpeg2 files. and when i import the file into after effects it’s sloooooooooooooooooooooooooow.
What can i do with the video file to make it run faster in AE7Pro? -

HDV is a compromise **acquisition** format, not an editing or compositing format. Convert the footage to another format before importing it into AE. Try Photo-JPEG.

But After Effects CS3 brings a new media layer (called MediaCore) which provides high-performance, native support for many video and audio formats. HDV is one of them. So while it may never be the most enjoyable format to work with, it should be much faster than in AE 7.Adolfo Rozenfeld
