    Hi thanks for the feedback.

Hard drives have been defragged and have tons of space.

All Premiere projects are completely uniform. The video is shot using a Canon HV40, on the main HDV 1080i setting.

I then use the HDV 1080i50 preset when captruing on Premiere.(I’m UK based btw). Have tried capturing with HDV-Split and still have the same problem.

As said before, this creates no problems on the rest of the computers, i just have the rendering problem on a select few.

How difficult would it be for you to swap one of the working machines HD with one of the non-working machines? Just to test if it is the harddrive.

I’m curious what would happen if a video file captured from one of the “working” computers was copied and pasted to one of the troubled units.
If that footage also becomes affected after importing, it might point to a drive or timeline issue. If it stays clean with no rendering required, it might point more directly to something in the capture process.

That’s a great suggestion (swap hard disks between a “problem” and a “no problem” systems) – I’d try that first; if the issue persists in a different system, then I’d try copying a project from a “problem” system to a “no problem” one.

Also, a quick disk benchmark test to run in administrative command prompt: “winsat disk -drive C:”. Takes a minute or two to complete; look for “sequential” numbers after it’s done.

    Thanks for all the help.

I finally figured it out. I had installed the Main Concept Mpeg Pro HD plugin on a couple of the computers.

I had totally forgot about it, I uninstalled the plugin and the problem was solved.
