HDV file conversion/export
I’m converting native HDV footage into WMV files w/ flip4mac in FCP5, on a Quad-Core PowerMac G5 with 8 gigs of RAM, and the process is extremely slow. Is there any hardware/software, or any other method to speed this up?

Not that I have found. Nor a fix for the artifacts I pick up on a 2 pass VBR encode.
